Monterey Became Lamborghini’s American Showcase
Lamborghini arrives at Monterey Car Week with three generations of its identity on display: the Miura that helped define the modern supercar, a limited Revuelto that translates that history into the hybrid era, and the fastest Urus the company has built. That is the appeal of Lamborghini Monterey Car Week in 2026. A separate Revuelto SV unveiling adds one more V12 to an unusually crowded program.
The relationship began in 1998 with the Diablo SV Monterey Edition, a run of just 20 cars created for the event. Monterey later hosted the Concept S, Aventador SV Roadster, Centenario Roadster, Aventador SVJ, Countach LPI 800-4, Urus Performante, Lanzador, Temerario and the 29-car Fenomeno.
Lamborghini Miura Tribute
There is a practical reason for the loyalty. The United States is Lamborghini’s largest market, while California alone would rank among the company’s five largest markets worldwide. Monterey concentrates serious collectors, potential customers and international media in one place. For Lamborghini, it functions as a showroom, design seminar and collector convention with better scenery.

The Miura Returns Through a 99-Car Revuelto Homage
The Revuelto Miura 60° Homage celebrates the Miura’s 1966 debut without attempting to recreate its rounded body. Ad Personam and Centro Stile instead transferred recognizable details to Lamborghini’s current V12 flagship. Buyers can select from nine heritage colors and two contrasting lower-body liveries inspired by historic Miuras.
The treatment continues inside with Miura-style “cannelloni” seat stitching, extended leather and dedicated 60th-anniversary details. An owner with a historic Miura can ask Ad Personam to reproduce that car’s original color combination, a clever way to make the modern tribute personal rather than merely scarce.
Lamborghini Miura Tribute
Underneath the colors is the standard Revuelto’s serious machinery: a naturally aspirated V12 paired with three electric motors. Total output is 1,015 CV, or approximately 1,001 horsepower. Lamborghini claims 0-62 mph in 2.5 seconds and a top speed above 217 mph. The plug-in-hybrid architecture adds complexity, but here it also preserves the drama of a V12 while providing electric torque and all-wheel-drive capability.

More Than 40 Miuras Take the Third Fairway
The tribute will meet the cars that inspired it on Sunday, August 16. More than 40 Miuras are scheduled to gather on the third fairway at Pebble Beach Golf Links, which Lamborghini and the concours describe as the largest Miura gathering assembled. Pebble Beach is opening that fairway for a public activation for the first time in the concours’ history.
That scale matters because the Miura is more than an attractive old Lamborghini. Its transverse V12 was installed behind the occupants, giving the car proportions and a mechanical layout that helped establish the template for generations of mid-engine supercars. As the National Park Service’s account of conserving a historic vehicle illustrates, preservation depends on patient specialist work, not merely secure storage.
Lamborghini Miura’s Take Pebble Beach Fairway
The display also underlines the strength of Lamborghini’s American collector base. The company says the United States has the world’s largest community of Miura collectors. The official event schedule lists the gathering from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific on Sunday, although admission requirements for the Pebble Beach Concours still apply.

Urus SE Performante Brings 801 Hybrid Horsepower
At the opposite end of Lamborghini’s practical scale is the Urus SE Performante, making its U.S. debut. Its 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 and permanent-magnet electric motor produce 812 CV, which converts to 801 horsepower, and 738 lb-ft of torque. The conversions follow the published NIST factors for power and torque. A 25.9-kWh battery supports more than 37 miles of electric driving under the company’s European estimate.

That 37-mile number is not an EPA-certified U.S. range figure. American fuel-economy and electric-range results will depend on federal testing and labeling once Lamborghini completes the relevant certification process.
The headline numbers are 0-62 mph in 3.3 seconds and a 194-mph top speed. More interesting is the work required to make a 5,452-pound plug-in hybrid behave like a Performante. Lamborghini cut 71 pounds compared with the Urus SE, fitted a standard titanium Akrapovič exhaust and used exposed carbon fiber for the hood, roof, wheel arches, side skirts and rear diffuser.

Aerodynamic changes produce 23 percent more downforce than the Urus SE while reducing aerodynamic drag by 3 percent. The new AURA dual-chamber air suspension is claimed to reduce body roll by 55 percent and comfort-related vibration by 25 percent compared with the previous Urus Performante. A new braking system, six-dimensional motion sensing and a Rally mode for loose surfaces expand the vehicle’s operating range beyond a simple horsepower upgrade.

Why Lamborghini Monterey Car Week Still Matters
Lamborghini’s program works because the old and new cars are not being treated as separate stories. The Miura gathering establishes the source material. The Revuelto Homage turns it into a limited collector object. The Urus SE Performante shows how the same appetite for speed is being applied to the model that broadened Lamborghini’s customer base.
Lamborghini at Monterey Car Week ’26
There is one more reveal to watch. Lamborghini has publicly identified the Revuelto SV and announced a Hockenheimring production-car lap of 1:41.6, but its complete world premiere is scheduled for Friday, August 14, at 8 p.m. Central European Summer Time. That is 11 a.m. Pacific, 2 p.m. Eastern and 7 p.m. British Summer Time.
